American Memory Project The Library of Congress makes available its outstanding digitized primary sources to U.S. history from more than 170 collections. Locate documents, photographs, sound recordings, films, maps, etc.
American Treasures of the Library of Congress This site combines American History and American Literature. It includes drafts of historical documents, author's notebooks, sound recordings, and motion pictures of America's past. The site is divided accordingly: Memory - History, Reason - Philosophy, and Imagination - Fine Arts.
National Archives and Records Administration This federal agency makes available U.S. government records such as documents, pictures, sound recordings, maps, satellite images, and computer data.
